教授／伊藤 元己 （いとう もとみ）

生物進化・生物多様性に関する研究を行っている。植物を対象にした研究が中心であるが、昆虫や微生物をあつかった研究や、生物間相互作用の進化研究も行っている。また、生物多様性情報学や保全生物学などの分野の研究も合わせて行っている。研究手法も多様であり、分子生物学的手法からフィールド研究まで多岐におよぶ。代表的な研究テーマは以下のようなものである。
